Last year's event, Brain Injury Awareness Day 2011 (March 16) was a success!
Our Candlelight Observance on March 16, 2011 at Court Square in downtown Harrisonburg was featured on our local news - twice! Once on the 6 pm news and a different piece on the 11 pm news. On Monday, March 21, 2011, JMU's newspaper, The Breeze, featured an article on the event.
Article from The Breeze, publication date March 21, 2011
Special thanks to Mayor Richard Baugh, McKinsey Harris (WHSV-TV), Karen Campbell (WHSV-TV), Eloise Banting (The Breeze), and all of the supporters who made this event possible.
